This American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course is designed for individuals working in healthcare or entering a healthcare-related field. The course covers high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use of an AED, and effective team-based resuscitation in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
This course is appropriate for healthcare professionals, including (but not limited to) nurses, EMTs, paramedics, dental professionals, medical assistants, and healthcare students.
This is a higher-level course than standard CPR/AED + First Aid and is required for those in clinical or patient-care roles.
Upon successful completion, students will receive an American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification valid for 2 years.
