This is the AHA PALS Initial course. This course will cover cardiology, rythm management, pharmacology and all other required parts to give you an AHA PALS provider card. The course requires that you have the current copy of the book which can be purchased at the class for $45. Also, you are required to take the pre-assessment at https://elearning.heart.org/course/427  The cost of the course is $190 plus the book if needed. Register online today! PALS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. PALS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.
