AHA FIRST AID CPR AED PROGRAM
This CPR course is for teaching others how to assess and help victims who need help in a medical emergency. You will also learn how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator), and how to help a person of all ages who is in need of emergency help from choking and lastly you will be taught the basics of first aid care such as bandages, managing internal bleedings, treating allergic reactions, and etc.This class is $75 for a basic CPR care. If AHA Card is required there is an aditional fee to cover the cost of the AHA Card.
The First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led
course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a
first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes
until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as
how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid
emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.
Upon completion of this course, students receive a Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.
This is a 5 - 6 hour class with 2 - 15 minute breaks.
