Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.
This is a 2-3 hour class with 1 - 15 minute breaks.
This class is designed for anyone who is not looking for a healthcare course. This course covers adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use and choking. This class is good for teachers, construction workers, general labor jobs and anyone not in the healthcare field. This CPR course meets the requirements for the EMSA for pediatric CPR. It does not meet the requirements for EMSA for pediatric First Aid. If you need both please sign up for our basic CPR and First Aid course. The cost for this course is $50 and is paid at the class.
