The PALS refresher course gives healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. The course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency management of pediatric patients approaching or already in respiratory or cardiac arrest. The course covers treatment beyond the first few minutes of an emergency.This is a 1 day course and costs $150. You MUST have a current PALS provider card in order to take this class. You can pay cash, check or card at the time of the class.Now that you are registered you will need to access the online pretest. Go to www.heart.org/eccstudent and enter code PALS15.
