The PALS course gives healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. The course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency management of pediatric patients approaching or already in respiratory or cardiac arrest. The course covers treatment beyond the first few minutes of an emergency.This is a 1 or 2 day course based on how many people attend the class and how much practice they need. The class costs $190. You will pay for the class when you arrive with cash, check or card.Once you are registered you will need to access the online pretest. Go to www.heart.org/eccstudent and enter code PALS15.
